B.M.I. Construction Co. Limited has a rich history dating back to 1967 when its founder, Ian Watts, arrived in Canada from England. His journey began as a carpentry apprentice in 1973, and over the years, he played a pivotal role in constructing some of Canada's most iconic landmarks, including the CN Tower, Eaton Centre, and West Edmonton Mall. In 1988, Ian joined forces with Kevin, a former apprentice, to establish B.M.I. Construction.
Since then, as a General Contractor, the company has been committed to delivering professional construction services, from pre-construction to close-out, along with building maintenance. Integrity, Passion, Teamwork, Respect, and Responsibility are the core values that drive us, ensuring our dedication to customer satisfaction and responsible practices in every project.

We understand what it means to build green – we demonstrate this by reducing, reusing, and recycling material on each job we work on.
We have successfully helped our clients achieve LEED certification while still managing to meet every strict deadline and budget. We promote sustainable building practices through encouraging all of our employees to become LEED accredited and supporting them every step of the way.

B.M.I. Construction Co. Ltd is committed to take every reasonable precaution to prevent injuries and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Through continuous, mandatory health and safety training and onsite inspections provided by the corporate Health and Safety Officer, employees develop an awareness of the prevention of personal injury and make safe working conditions a way of life both on and off the job.
